We are dedicated to the construction needs of remote Australia, holding builders licences for NT, SA and WA. We are CAL accredited for both Urban and Remote Area work.
Privately owned and operated, we have access to a wide range of subcontractors and specialists, including plumbers, boilermakers, electricians, glaziers, tilers and much more.
Within the company itself, our staff have training and expertise across multiple fields. This gives us tremendous flexibility and great workforce productivity. Backed by our supportive administration staff, there is virtually no remote area project beyond our resources.
Among our qualifications, our staff are trained and hold current certificates in:
- Steel fabrication
- Working at heights
- Elevated work platforms
- Confined space entry
- Explosive power tools
- Removal of bonded asbestos
Pedersens also employs local community members. On all the projects we undertake, these extra local team members can represent up to 80% of our onsite personnel. We take pride in passing on trade and life skills to young community members.
At our Alice Springs base, Pedersens has a range of machinery, including a Bobcat, backhoe and trucks, from 2 tonne to 40 tonne. We also have site vans utilised for onsite accommodation, which helps Pedersens deliver their projects efficiently, on time and within budget.
